Dick Hardwick

Artist Information

He recently appeared at the famous Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs where he was emcee for their annual month long Christmas show along with vocalist Melissa Manchester.  Broadmoor entertainment director, Ken Miller commented,

“Dick was wonderful from start to finish. Everyone loved him whether he was on the stage, or backstage. He’s a real funny guy, and a sweetheart to boot. Sure hope we can have him back as soon as possible! The Broadmoor, and Colorado Springs love Dick Hardwick!”

As comedic star of Disneyland’s Golden Horseshoe Revue, Dick holds a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest running live stage show at the park. In fact, he is even the recorded voice of the Captain on the Mark Twain Steamboat at The Happiest Place on Earth!

Dick played washboard on John Prine’s Grammy Award album, The Missing Years, appeared live on The Grand Old Opry and graced the Ryman stage with John Jorgenson & Jose Feliciano.

To entertain our troops the Greencastle, Indiana native spent two Thanksgivings in Iraq and the Middle East with Grammy-winning Lee Greenwood and the New England Patriot Cheerleaders for United States Air Force Reserve. And, to no one’s surprise, Dick recently was awarded an honorary "Doctor of Performing Arts" from Westfield State University in Massachusetts.

The Convention and Visitors Bureau for both Las Vegas and Reno have used Dick multiple times as their traveling host for sales promotion trips. Clients as varied as STATE FARM, CRACKER BARREL, AT&T, COKE, KFC, GILLETTE, BRIDGESTONE/FIRESTONE and The Republican National Committee all celebrate Dick's ability to entertain with big laughs while never using any offensive language or four-letter words.

Dick hosted the 80th Birthday party for General Chuck Yeager and the 75th for Michael Pulitzer as well as the first Country Fest at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Dick incorporates a variety of music into his stand-up act and is the drummer in the Beverly Hills Unlisted Jazz Band…he does a comedy drum routine that wins him many many accolades.

An avid golfer, fisherman and sportman Dick appears at many celebrity tournaments and received standing ovations at the Senior Tour Championship in Oklahoma City and the John Elway Classic in Denver. He has repeat appearances at Greg Norman's Shark Shoot Out, Michael Bolton’s Charity Classic and Jeff Foxworthy’s Duke Children’s Hospital Clas

Dick Hardwick’s down-home humor and wizardry with a multitude of musical instruments lights up the stage every time.  His strong audience reaction is a testament to his ability to know what works each and every time he hits the stage.

Reba McEntire says: “I love his sense of humor and his ability to make the audience laugh without taking the low road by resorting to X-rated humor.

Barbara Mandrell says: “Dick Hardwick is the best comedian/entertainer out there!”
