Haley & Michaels

Artist Information

Now, in 2015, things aren’t nearly as quiet as before. With the 2014 release of their debut single to SiriusXM, “Just Another Love Song” sold more than 25,000 copies worldwide and reached No. 59 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

The video, directed by CMA Video Of The Year award winning Shane Drake, climbed to the top of the CMT Pure playlist, and entered into the top 10 on the GAC Countdown and spent 20 straight weeks on the chart. Their newly released self-titled debut EP, produced by CMA Award Winning producers Kyle Jacobs and Matt McClure, captures the signature vocal arrangements, the passion, and the artistic depth of the duo.

SiriusXM has played “One More Night To Break” and the duo’s compelling version of “500 Miles” on The Highway in the last few months. Most recently, Haley & Michaels have released their new single “Giving It All (To You)” to XM after receiving incredible feedback from fans who heard the song on Buzz Brainard’s Highway Happy Hour when Haley & Michaels co-hosted the program to celebrate their wedding.

“There are some definite game-changers that have taken place – SiriusXM adding our song on the Highway has been huge – along with the additional support from radio – including early believers who have started playing our song, like KRTY/San Jose and KKGO/Los Angeles. You can see where the power of that has changed everything. It’s connected us to so many fans that we wouldn’t have known before. That, to me, has been so powerful and so exciting”, Haley says.

On May 9, the duo wed in Northern California with close friends and family where Shannon walked down the aisle to “Giving It All (To You)”, which the couple wrote for their wedding.

“We sat down to work on our vows, but instead, we ended up writing this song,” says Haley. “We incorporated some of those lyrics into our vows, but we thought me walking down the aisle to that song would be really special, based on what the lyrics are about.”

From writing their songs to promoting them, Haley & Michaels have done everything independently — which is quickly becoming a business model in the industry that works. In 2013, the duo swept through the Nashville Independent Music Awards, winning 4 awards including Song Of The Year and Artist Of The Year. They say they are just trying to soak everything in along the way.

“We are having an absolute blast and have so many wonderful memories. I believe that by doing it in increments, we are building a strong foundation. This isn’t a short-term thing for us, it’s our life. We’ve never really thought about the option of it not working out. With everything from our fan base to our creative team to our co-writers, we are trying to build a solid platform that we hope will set us up well for the long run. It is so rewarding when you do it yourself, and when you’re there for every step of the way,” says Michaels.

Their magnetic chemistry in their high energy stage show has been the driving force that has landed them dates with country music stars such as Clint Black, Brett Eldredge, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Parmalee Cole Swindell, Hank Williams Jr and many more. In between tour dates, Haley & Michaels are writing new music this summer. Keep an eye on this duo, as Billboard has recently stated, “Haley & Michaels is ready to break.”
