Summer is off to a great start. From celebrations to big announcements, exciting things are happening at the Opry.
WE KICKED OFF CMA FEST IN STYLE
We welcomed the world’s longest-running country music festival for another spectacular year in Nashville with big performances at the Opry. Carrie Underwood, Jordan Davis, Deana Carter, and more took the stage to start the weekend right!
WE HONORED A LEGEND
Our Opry 100 Honors series continued with a tribute to Don Williams, master songwriter and “Gentle Giant” of country music. Many of the performers who took the stage, including Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, and Jamey Johnson, were not only inspired by Don, but had the chance to collaborate with him. It was a special night celebrating Don’s influence, legacy, and friendship. Keep an eye out for more Opry 100 Honors shows as the year continues!
WE WELCOMED NEWCOMERS TO THE CIRCLE
This summer has been full of Opry debuts as we welcomed new faces to the Opry stage, including country up-and-comers like Hannah Harper and Adrien Nunez, and special guests like Tori Kelly and Niall Horan. Making an Opry debut is a milestone moment, and we can’t wait to see who steps onstage next.
WE INVITED A NEW MEMBER OF THE FAMILY
Rhett Akins, ‘90s country icon and longtime friend of the Opry (we even share a birthday weekend!) joined us for a celebration of ‘90s country. Rhett was surprised onstage by Jon Pardi, who said, “You’ve always been family to me, but I’m here to invite you to be part of a different family. Rhett Akins, I am here to invite you to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.”

OPRY DEBUTS: ORVILLE PECK (7/21) AND SWITCHFOOT (7/23)
Don’t miss two exciting opportunities to see an artist perform on the Opry stage for the first time. South-African country artist Orville Peck hits the stage on July 21. Known for his signature fringed mask and his collaborations with artists like Willie Nelson, Noah Cyrus, and Diplo, Peck is making waves through his unique personal style and electric performances.
On July 23, GRAMMY-winning rock band Switchfoot makes their Opry debut, following the release of their new album Forever Now.
JULY 14: JAMEY JOHNSON’S BIRTHDAY
Opry member Jamey Johnson is throwing his birthday bash right on the Opry stage…and you’re invited! Joining him on the lineup are friends and collaborators Tracy Lawrence, ERNEST, Randy Houser, and more. Come “see it in color” as we celebrate Jamey with a honky-tonk throwdown and some outlaw sound.
JULY 18: BILL ANDERSON’S OPRY ANNIVERSARY
Whisperin’ Bill Anderson is celebrating 65 incredible years as a Grand Ole Opry member! The longest-standing active member, Bill has seen the Opry—and country music—evolve greatly over his six decades of membership. See this living legend take the stage alongside fellow Opry members and friends as we celebrate another year of Bill being a cherished part of our Opry family.
JULY 20: VINCE GILL AND AMY GRANT
Our favorite country duo is heading to the Opry stage this July. See Vince Gill and Amy Grant appear together, alongside John Foster, Austin Edwards (making his Opry debut), and more stars.
JULY 28: LADY A & RICKY SKAGGS
Lady A returns to the Opry on July 28 for an exciting show celebrating 10 years of Hillary Scott & The Scott Family’s album Love Remains. They’re joined by Opry member (and the album’s producer!) Ricky Skaggs for a Nashville show you won’t want to miss.
AUGUST 21–22: CARRIE UNDERWOOD PERFORMS FOUR SHOWS
That’s right—you’ve got FOUR chances to see Carrie Underwood on the Opry this August. She’s taking the stage for the 7:00pm and 9:30pm shows on August 21 and 22. If you've never seen Carrie live at the Opry, this is the time!
