City Lights
Lower Broadway
Post up shortly after sunrise and before the crowds hit the honky-tonks for a unique perspective and empty streets. Alternatively, capture the nighttime glow of Broadway at its busiest; bring a tripod and set up your camera for long exposure.
Love Circle
Tucked within West End, Love Circle provides the ultimate lookout over the city for those who want a perfect wide shot of the skyline. Just remember to respect neighborhood residents and head out before the park closes at 9 p.m.
John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge
Nashville is always ready for its close-up, and this popular bridge offers the perfect vantage point of downtown. The Cumberland River reflects a town that is constantly evolving.
Architecture
Union Station
Housed within a restored railway station, the Union Station Hotel’s ornate lobby will have you rubbernecking, but the imposing barrel-vaulted ceiling is the true showstopper and worthy of more than just one snap.
Centennial Park
Known for its exceptional commitment to education, Nashville is called “The Athens of the South,” which is why the city boasts its own full-scale replica of Greece’s Parthenon that looks good at any angle.
Vanderbilt University
Often recognized as one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country, Vanderbilt’s lush lawns and stunning architecture have even served as the backdrop for various music videos, including Taylor Swift’s “Love Story.”

Cheekwood Estate & Gardens
There’s always a bounty in bloom at Cheekwood, making for an array of vibrant photo opportunities. In particular, the Bradford Robertson Color Garden lends itself to great close-up shots of flowers.
Radnor Lake
Not only are the sunsets around here gorgeous, but Radnor Lake also happens to be a nature photographer’s haven, with plenty of opportunities to spot a variety of birds including the occasional bald eagle.
Percy Warner Park
The park’s stone steps that gently slope alongside a tree-covered hill are the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot, particularly when the leaves begin to change, and serve as a welcome sight to those looking to escape downtown.
