The Grand Ole Opry House has a whole new store with expanded retail collections, iconic artifacts, and more. Here are the 10 things you can't miss.

1. Iconic fashion worn by Opry stars and country music legends

Before buying a T-shirt to commemorate your own time at the Opry, check out the clothes and accessories worn by some names you might recognize: Johnny Cash, Connie Smith, Marty Stuart, Little Jimmy Dickens, and more. From rhinestone suits to big-as-Texas belt buckles to leather cowboy boots that country music is known for, The Opry Shop now displays several iconic on-stage looks. Don’t miss Hank Williams’ tooled leather gun holster and a rare departure from Johnny Cash’s all-black ensemble: a dress shirt embellished with red, white, and blue stars — a nod to America’s bicentennial.

2. Apparel inspired by the outfits on display

You might notice a thread of similarity between the famous outfits on display and the ones you can wear yourself. Several pieces of clothing that are new arrivals to The Opry Shop are inspired by motifs that dominate the wardrobes of country stars. One display case highlights how birds have often appeared in country music and fashion. The same feathered friend that makes an appearance on the toes of Roy Rogers’ red boots can be found in the shirt pictured above. Small stylistic touches like these connect you with the music of your favorite artist and prove that the circle can never be broken.

3. A convenient new place to pick up your tour photo

Step right up to the Opry’s new dedicated space for viewing and purchasing tour photos. After capturing the moment of you and your friends stepping into country music’s hallowed circle, head to the photo pick-up station now located inside the Opry Shop to the right of the checkout counter. View your photo on an enlarged screen before picking up your ready-to-take-home prints that are available as soon as you arrive.

4. Expanded collections you already love

A bigger Opry Shop means more space to fill it with the things you’ll love. Show your pride for our stars and stripes with items from our Americana collection, add some edge to your wardrobe with Outlaw collection, and wear looks inspired by genre greats with the help of our Country Roots collection. All collections have brand-new items, and you’ll also find more merchandise celebrating the heritage of country music with lines featuring Hee Haw, WSM, and Bluebird Cafe apparel and collectibles.

5. Ole Red swag everyone will want to get their paws on

Had a little too much fun at Ole Red but forgot to snag that camo shirt you wanted on the way out? The Opry Shop now has a section dedicated to merchandise from Ole Red, a new restaurant, bar, and live music venue on Broadway inspired by Opry member Blake Shelton’s hit song “Ol’ Red.” We make having a good time real easy.

6. A comfortable new fitting room

The Opry Shop has worked hard to improve the in-store experience, which is why the new space now includes a comfortable fitting room where you can decide which new looks to take home with you. (Hint: all of them.) Hey, good lookin’.

7. Unique designer apparel with handmade touches

Why just watch the stars on the Opry stage when you can look like one, too? Shane Markus of East Nashville’s Star Struck Vintage has styled pieces for some of country music's biggest names. Now you can own a custom Opry shirt that sparkles with the help of Swarovski crystals that Markus hand-sets. She also distresses each shirt herself. Time to make your mark on Music City.

8. Interesting art to admire throughout the store

While you’re shopping, enjoy several custom art pieces on display at The Opry Shop. At the front of the store, you’ll notice handmade banners that honor the craft of storytelling and the art of song. Each capture the Opry’s legacy through small details in the form of rhinestones, beads, and hand-painted symbols. Be inspired by visual interpretations of lyrics from “Ring of Fire,” “Friends in Low Places,” and “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” in each banner.

9. An easier way to find your favorite Hatch Show Print

Major artist milestones at the Opry are celebrated with Hatch Show Print posters, custom-designed keepsakes created at one of the country’s oldest operating letterpress shops. Now you can easily peruse poster options displayed on the wall before making your selection.

10. Artwork that you can hang above the mantle and remember your trip to Nashville by

Washington artist Carol Braden shapes license plates and scrap metal into masterpiece guitars that you’ll want to have in your own living room. No two pieces are quite the same. Browse the ever-changing collection, which pays homage to the Opry and other Tennessee institutions, at The Opry Shop.
