Wyatt McCubbin
Artist Information
Wyatt McCubbin’s journey from a four-way-stop town in Ohio to Nashville, Tennessee is a story of 16 years and nearly 2,000 songs.
Wyatt wrote his first song at 14, and not long after, he was playing bars and opening shows for country legends like Merle Haggard and George Jones.
When Wyatt graduated high school in 2013, he had one thing on his mind: Guitar Town. He began driving 300 miles one way to Music City every other week — building his catalog and sharpening his craft for the next seven years. Writing alongside some of Nashville’s biggest hitmakers helped shape the songwriter you hear today.
Wyatt has since had hundreds of songs recorded by artists including Luke Combs, Zach Top, Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, and many others — earning him a spot on MusicRow Magazine’s Top 100 Songwriters list in both 2024 and 2025.
Beyond the writing room, he’s been a mainstay on the road as well — joining Riley Green on the Damn Country Music Tour in 2025 and heading overseas in 2026 for Zach Top’s European Cold Beer & Country Music Tour.
In 2026, Wyatt signed his first record deal with MCA/Lucille and recorded his debut full-length, self-titled album produced by Dave Cobb, set for release later this year.
With songs currently climbing country radio and his own album on the horizon, the next chapter of Wyatt McCubbin’s story is just getting starte
