Sarah Darling’s musical journey has taken her from a small town in Iowa to a global tour to hone her craft and develop her unique sound. The newest project represents the culmination of these experiences and mixes a modern country/pop sound and emotion with Sarah’s crisp and silky vocals. “When writing a for a new project, I wanted to embrace all we had experienced, both the good and the bad. This latest project is the most honest and vulnerable project I have ever recorded.” The first track, “Waves” is scheduled for release on October 22. Other tracks are scheduled for release as well, leading to a full EP in early 2022. Her initial introduction to the music scene culminated with Sarah’s EP Home to Me, which was featured on Sirius XM’s The Highway™, receiving airplay on US country radio and becoming the top-selling digital single from a new female artist year. Sarah performed opened for Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson, Scotty McCreery, and many others. During a short pause, Sarah collaborated with writers and producers in Nashville, Los Angeles, and the UK and developed a more contemporary UK county sound. She returned to the music scene with the more personal project Dream Country, which served as the first bridge to the UK and European country audiences. Her follow up album, Wonderland, garnered a #1 UK Country Chart song “Call Me”, and expanding on the international success of the release, she performed at the first-ever C2C Berlin, several performances at C2C London, Nashville Meets London, Cambridge Folk Festival, and even her own headline Wonderland UK tour. Her most recent project, The Campfire Sessions, is an acoustic collection of country songs that inspired us all. Tracks include Dreams, Bring on the Rain, Wide Open Spaces, What If God Was One Of us, You’re Still the One, and even a country version of California Gurls. Her credits include 5 full-length albums, multiple singles and duets. She has over 20 million streams, 11 million video views, and has over 90 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry stage. She is one of the first Sirius XM The Highway™ Finds. Performances include: CMA Music Fest, C2C, BBC Radio 2 Stage, FSA Music Festival, Nashville Meets London, British Country Music Festival, British Summertime Festival supporting Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor and Paul Simon.
