Aubry Rodriguez was born in San Marcos, TX, and is the only child of music icon Johnny Rodriguez. Raised in the heart of country music, she was immersed in the industry from a young age. She began playing piano and guitar, and writing songs - even sketching melodies by age 4 - and began performing alongside her father in her early teens. She has shared the stage with some of country music’s greats, such as Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, and TG Sheppard. Aubry has received 3 CMA of Texas Awards, including 2 for “Duet of the Year” and 1 for “Rising Star”. In early 2025, Rodriguez teamed with Vinny Tovar for a fresh, culturally rich rendition of her father’s 1972 hit “Pass Me By”, which received praise from Billboard and Music Row Magazine, and has remained on the Texas Radio charts for 24 weeks.
Rodriguez continues to evolve as a modern country artist - blending performance, songwriting, and a sharp understanding of the industry. She stands at the crossroads of tradition and innovation, proudly carrying her father’s legacy while carving her own path.
