To celebrate her upcoming appearances, we’re taking a look back on some of her best Opry moments. 

Opry Debut

When Ashley was a young girl, she had a teacher tell her that her dreams of becoming a country singer were “stupid”. She told that story before an emotional performance of her hit song “Girl Goin’ Nowhere” during her Opry debut in 2017.

Opry Invitation

In one of the Opry’s most creative Opry member invitations to date, country legend Garth Brooks invited Ashley into the family during a live television appearance on CBS Mornings while she was promoting her album Lindeville.  Even Garth couldn’t make it through the big ask without a crack in his voice. 

Opry Induction

Ashley McBryde has been emotional about playing the Grand Ole Opry since her debut back in 2017. In true Ashley form, on the night of her induction five years later – during her 22nd performance on the historic stage – she couldn’t hold back the tears. 

“The Opry is kind of the Hollywood – in all the best ways – of country music,” she said backstage. “This is the epitome … this is getting your face on Mount Rushmore, to me.”

“Bible and a .44” with Eric Church

For her first performance as an Opry member, Ashley McBryde invited Eric Church to join her for a song. They performed "Bible And A .44" as part of her induction night on Saturday, Dec 10th, 2022. The song is an ode to her preacher father, William C. McBryde, that she penned for her debut EP in 2016.

“Light On In The Kitchen”

Ashley brought a new single with her to her Opry appearance on April 11, 2023. Standing solo on stage, she gave the audience a touching acoustic performance of “Light On In The Kitchen.” The now-hit is an emotional ballad that offers timeless advice for young women.
