Callie Twisselman
Artist Information
Raised on her family’s seventh-generation ranch in California, Callie Twisselman grew up immersed in country living, learning the value of hard work while feeding cattle, riding horses, and competing in rodeos. Inspired by her mother’s local touring band and legends like Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, and George Strait, Twisselman knew from the age of 10 that music was her calling. After being chosen to sing the national anthem at a local fair and opening for Bonnie Raitt, she became completely hooked and began performing whenever she had the chance. By 15, she had learned to play guitar and started writing her own songs.
In the following years, Twisselman honed her craft by playing local fairs and songwriter rounds and forming her first band, eventually recording her first EP in Nashville. She made the leap to Music City full-time, and in 2021, released her debut EP Closure, produced by Grammy-winner Aaron Pearce.
Last year, Twisselman released her single In My World, an uplifting anthem about dreams and aspirations, produced by longtime collaborator Tyler Cain. She also joined forces with global icon Dolly Parton and fellow country singers Maddie & Tae and Jessie James Decker for the Diane Warren-penned single Gonna Be You, an ode to the power of female friendship. They later took part in a heartfelt conversation titled God, Family, and Showbusiness, reflecting on their careers, faith, and balance between personal life and music.
Twisselman has opened for breakout star Jelly Roll at his debut Canadian show in St. Catharines, Ontario, and for Jon Pardi in their shared hometown of Paso Robles at the Mid-State Fair. With performances at C2C Festival in London, two UK support tours with Willow Avalon and Halle Kearns, and The Sound of Nashville in Cologne, Germany, her international footprint continues to grow.
Her upcoming EP Growing in Grace - out December 5 - brings together all the singles she’s released this year, marking a powerful reflection of her growth as both an artist and a woman of faith. Twisselman is also set to make her Grand Ole Opry debut on December 27, a lifelong dream come true, and will open for Dolly Parton for her rescheduled Live in Vegas date on September 17, 2026.
With new music, milestone performances and an ever-growing global fanbase, Callie Twisselman is shaping up to make 2026 her biggest chapter yet.
