An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry at Carnegie Hall
UNITED IN SOUND
On March 20, 2026, the Grand Ole Opry took the stage at Carnegie Hall as part of the “United in Sound: America at 250” festival. The special, one-night-only performance showcased the past, present, and future of country music and its lasting impact on the American sound.
OPRY AND CARNEGIE HALL
This marks the Opry’s fourth visit to the legendary Carnegie Hall stage, following historic performances in 1947, 1961, and 2005.
1947: Ernest Tubb, Minnie Pearl, George D. Hay, and others bring the rowdy Grand Ole Opry show to Carnegie Hall—a stage primarily known for classical music—for a barn-burning two-night run.
1961: The Opry returns with a new cast, including Bill Monroe, Grandpa Jones, Marty Robbins, and Patsy Cline in her one-and-only Carnegie Hall appearance.
2005: The Opry marks its 80th anniversary with a star-studded lineup including Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Bill Anderson, Brad Paisley, Charley Pride, Little Jimmy Dickens, Martina McBride, Ricky Skaggs, Trace Adkins, Trisha Yearwood, and Vince Gill.
THE CIRCLE MEETS THE BIG APPLE
Opry members Kelsea Ballerini, Henry Cho, Scotty McCreery, Rhonda Vincent, and special guests Wyatt Flores and The War & Treaty delivered standout performances, ending the night with the Carter Family classic, “Will The Circle Be Unbroken.”
