Jeff Cook is a founding member and lead guitarist of the legendary country-rock band Alabama. In that role, he has enjoyed seven multiplatinum albums and over 30 number one records. The band was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005. In addition to his performance work, Mr. Cook founded Cook Sound Studios, Inc., in his native Fort Payne, Alabama. When not performing or recording, he is involved with the nonprofit Del Couch Music Education Foundation, which offers children free access to music education, recording equipment and mentorship.
