Few children at the age of nine can describe what they hope to accomplish with their lives. In reality, few adults can say their childhood dreams have come true. Daryle Singletary experienced a career beyond even his wildest dreams when he found himself singing country songs alongside some of his heroes and mentors, including George Jones, Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Paycheck, Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, John Anderson and Rhonda Vincent.

His dreams began to form in his hometown of Cairo, GA, where Daryle was born on March 10, 1971. After relocating to Music City, Daryl signed a recording contract with Giant Records in 1995, the same year he released his self-titled debut album.

Daryle's hits include "I Let Her Lie," "Too Much Fun and "Amen Kind of Love."

"We've been very fortunate to stay on the road, year in, year out," he says. "I continue to work and continue to build a fan base. There are still people out there who want to hear traditional country music. I've been fortunate to be able to always keep it real and not have to compromise. I can't ask for nothin' better, I don't guess."

"I believe all of it is still a dream. I have been very fortunate to do [country music] for a living. It is a dream in itself."
