The Grand Ole Opry has been a Nashville icon for more than 86 years, and now it's hitting the road - but not in the usual sense. The Virtual Opry Stage, a futuristic Opry barn, will travel with Opry member Brad Paisleyand five supporting artists this summer through fall on Brad's Virtual Reality World Tour 2012. Joining him are fellow artists who have also taken the "real" Opry stage including The Band Perry, Scotty McCreery, Jana Kramer, Love and Theft, and Kristen Kelly. See below for more about the artists.
The tour is an extension of Brad's Virtual Reality Tour from earlier this year, and the summer run will include outdoor activities, games, contests, photo ops, food vendors, and the Virtual Opry Stage. The stage will host the performances in the plaza. Jana, Kristen, and Love and Theft will perform and all three will be signing autographs immediately following. Join them on Twitter and Facebook too - and tell your friends how cool the #VirtualOpry stage really is. Or you can tell us below.
