Charles Esten Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut
Portrays Deacon Claybourne on the Hit ABC Series “Nashville”
Nashville, TN — November 13, 2012
Actor Charles Esten made his Grand Ole Opry® debut this past Sat., Nov. 10 at the historic Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville. Esten portrays the character Deacon Claybourne in the new hit ABC series “Nashville” and sang “Back Home,” a song he has performed on the show. He followed it with a Buck Owens tune, “Act Naturally.” Big Machine Records will release the soundtrack for “Nashville” on Dec. 11.
Clare Bowen, who portrays Scarlett O'Connor on ABC's "Nashville" and Sam Palladio, who portrays Gunnar Scott, are also heading to the Opry stage THIS SATURDAY. Click here for tickets.
