Grand Ole Opry Adds Wednesday Night Shows to Summer Schedule
Nashville, TN — June 26, 2012
Country music fans in Nashville are about to get another night of Opry to enjoy this summer. The Grand Ole Opry® presented by Humana® is adding four weeks of Wednesday night shows to its schedule July 18 - August 8, joining the Opry’s Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday performances on the Opry’s show schedule.
The Wednesday Night Opry will feature special 30 minute performances by Vince Gill on July 18 and Rascal Flatts on July 25. Other artists scheduled to appear during the series include Lauren Alaina, Rodney Atkins, Josh Thompson, Dustin Lynch, and Point of Grace, with more to be announced.
All Opry performances begin at 7:00 p.m. The Grand Ole Opry is performed every Friday and Saturday night of the year, and the Tuesday Night Opry runs through Dec. 11. Thursday Night Opry Country Classics shows will return Oct. 4 for a four-week run. Opry House Backstage Pass Tours operate seven days a week based upon Opry House availability.
