Grand Ole Opry Superstars Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson Take The Opry Stage
Nashville, TN — May 10, 2010

This past weekend, country superstars Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson appeared on the Grand Ole Opry during the Opry's first weekend of shows since being temporarily displaced from the Opry House due to flooding. The shows were held at the Opry's most famous former home, the historic Ryman Auditorium. Paisley played on Friday evening and Jackson on Saturday-- each along with a full cast of other Opry members and special guests.
"It's time to rally, and that's exactly how it feels," Paisley said. "I see why tonight, our performance at the Opry is maybe more important than the first time I ever played it."
The Tuesday Night Opry May 11-- also scheduled for the Ryman-- will include Opry and Hall of Fame member George Jones, Opry member Martina McBride, and many others.
