Craig Morgan to Host America's Grand Ole Opry Weekend Year-End Special

Craig helps celebrate the biggest hits of 2008 during radio special

Craig Morgan, multi-platinum BNA recording artist and newest Grand Ole Opry member, has been tapped to host this year’s America’s Grand Ole Opry Weekend Year-End Special, which is available to country radio stations across America from Westwood One. The special will share the year’s biggest hits as performed live on the Opry stage throughout 2008. Listeners will hear “All American Girl,” by another new Opry inductee, Carrie Underwood; “Waitin’ On A Woman” by Brad Paisley; “You’re Gonna Miss This” by Trace Adkins; “Good Time” by Alan Jackson; and “Love Remembers” by the host, himself. Morgan will also recap some of the biggest stories in country music from throughout the year and spin hits by newsmakers including Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, and more.

Morgan is a Nashville native who has built his tremendous popularity with massive radio airplay of his signature hits, including: “Love Remembers,” “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” and “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” which was Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of 2005. He has performed on the Grand Ole Opry more than 130 times, and plays over 200 sold-out concerts a year. Morgan is signed to Sony Music Entertainment’s BNA Records, and released his fifth studio album, THAT'S WHY, Oct. 21.
