Grand Ole Opry Classic Country Cruise Hits the High Seas February 2009

Nashville, TN — May 08, 2008

Classic country music and some of its most distinctive voices will take center stage when the Grand Ole Opry sails the Caribbean with its Classic Country Cruise February 8 – 14, 2009. Country Music Hall of Famer and Grand Ole Opry star Mel Tillis is set to entertain during the cruise alongside fellow Opry stars John Conlee and Jeannie Seely plus country favorites T.G. Sheppard and Mandy Barnett.

Classic country fans will experience private shows by the artists performing their own hits in addition to all-time country classics throughout the week. Additional musical fun onboard will include classic country karaoke with celebrity judges, screenings of classic country television performances, an exclusive cocktail party, and a classic country storytelling session in which the entertainers on board answer fan questions and share their favorite stories from their collective years in the music business. A full casino, deck activities, dancing, first-run movies, and gourmet dining also are included. Departing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, passengers aboard Carnival’s Freedom will visit three ports of call: Key West, FL; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; and Grand Cayman.

Prices for the Grand Ole Opry cruise begin at $899 per person based on double occupancy. For more information on each artist on the cruise, cruise blogs, and more, visit oprycruise.com. To book a cruise, contact Corporate Travel Service Inc. at (866) 653-OPRY (6779).
