Opry and United States Postal Service Partner for a Uniquely Nashville Tax Day

Nashville, TN — April 10, 2008

The Grand Ole Opry and the United States Postal Service are working to give “Tax Day” a uniquely Nashville twist and to make the day easier and more fun for country music fans. As guests file into the April 15 Tuesday Night Opry, the Postal Service will position a mail truck at the entrance of the Opry House for convenient tax return drop-offs.

Among those scheduled to help wash any tax blues away on the Opry stage that night are Martina McBride, Lee Greenwood, Steve Wariner, Eric Church (singing his apropos new single “His Kind of Money [My Kind of Love]”), Bill Anderson (singing, of course, “Po’ Folks”), and more.
