Grand Ole Opry Kicks Off 2006 Signature Show Series with Love Songs Signature Show This Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 6, 2006) The Grand Ole Opry® presented by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® announces the return of its Signature Show Series for 2006. The first Signature Show of the year, February 11’s Love Songs, will feature some of country’s favorite love songs in honor of Valentine’s Day. Among those scheduled to perform include Restless Heart (“I’ll Still Be Loving You”), Jimmy Wayne (“I Love You This Much”), Del McCoury Band (“My Love Will Not Change”), Lorrie Morgan, Suzy Bogguss, and more. Throughout the night, Opry announcers will read special Valentine listener dedications sent in from across the country via opry.com.



Other Opry Signature Shows already announced for the year include Grand Ole Gospel (April 21), raising the roof of the Opry House with Gospel classics and today’s award-winning Christian artists; Star-Spangled Opry (July 1 & 4), sharing the Opry’s American spirit with all-time patriotic favorites and more recent salutes to the red, white and blue; and Bill Monroe Bluegrass Celebration (Sept. 26), presenting some of the biggest names in bluegrass music during International Bluegrass Music Awards week.
