There's nothing like a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry House - it's a must-see for everyone in Music City!
Walk in the footsteps of country music's superstars and get an exclusive look at what happens behind the scenes of the show that made country music famous!
Your knowledgeable guide will share stories about the Opry and country music greats, past and present (from Minnie Pearl to Carrie Underwood, you might say), show you photos from the Opry's biggest moments in history and take you to the artist entrance - where legends, new artists, and superstars alike enter the Opry House on the night of an Opry show.
You may even have the chance to step on stage and into the famed wooden circle as decades of artists have done. Tours may also make a stop in Studio A, a live television studio and former home of HEE HAW.
video host: BLAKE SHELTON
Your video guide is someone who has not only been there himself, but became an official member of the Opry family in 2010. You'll get a look behind the scenes from your tour guide, but also from Blake - CMA Male Vocalist of the Year, star of NBC's hit show "The Voice," and No. 1 hit-maker - via video throughout your tour.
You won't want to miss seeing a sampling of the 18 artist dressing rooms, newly refurbished following the Nashville flood of 2010. Each dressing room is decorated with a unique theme including "Cousin Minnie," "Wagonmaster," "Little Jimmy," and "Mr. Roy," (honoring greats Minnie Pearl, Porter Wagoner, Jimmy Dickens, and Roy Acuff, respectively). It's definitely a tour highlight!

TWO MORE WAYS TO TOUR: Be sure to check out the tours and ost-ShowBehind The Opry Curtain VIP tours, two other Grand Ole Opry House backstage tour options. Daytime tours are available daily. Tours are most often available seven days a week February through October, though schedules can vary depending upon other Opry House commitments. On evenings in which there is only one Opry performance, tours are also available immediately after the show when the Opry is presented at the Grand Ole Opry House. Daytime Tours can be booked up to two weeks in advance online or by calling 1-800-SEE-OPRY. Post-Show and VIP Tours may be booked further in advance. Tours tend to sell out quickly once available, so booking before you arrive is best. Tickets for tours are also available at the Opry House Box Office.
