City of hope 20th annual celebrity softball challenge

Country music’s biggest stars go to bat in the fight against cancer every summer at the Nashville Celebrity Softball Challenge. Celebrating its 20th year, the event helps raise funds and awareness for City of Hope's lifesaving mission. Opry stars Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Clint Black and many others have all stepped up to the plate to help find a cure. Click here for more information!

Guitars of the Stars
Opry Trust Fund Benefit Auction for Flood Relief
Ryman Auditorium
June 11 / 3:00 p.m.
The 2nd Annual Guitars of the Stars Benefit Auction Sponsored by Humana will give fans the unique opportunity to bid on guitars decorated by some of country music’s hottest stars. Proceeds will benefit the Opry Trust Fund, assisting victims of the 2010 Nashville flood. Chris Young will kick off the event with a free performance, and will be offering up his own personalized guitar for auction.

Among the stars confirmed to contribute guitars they’ve designed in celebration of their current singles, hobbies, favorite country songs, or country music heroes are Lady Antebellum, Brooks & Dunn, George Jones, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Eric Church, Danny Gokey, The Judds, Darius Rucker, and more!
Charley pride in-store appearance

Opry legend and Country Music Hall of Fame member Charley Pride will sign autographs at Opry Originals on 300 Broadway Ave, downtown Nashville. Come by and meet Charley, then join us later in the evening as Charley performs on the Opry at the Ryman Auditorium.

Lady Antebellum, Justin Moore, Del McCoury Band, and Terri Clark are among those already scheduled to appear on the Tuesday Night Opry.

Competition will be stiff this year as country music's hottest stars compete in the 20th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge Presenting Title Sponsor PEOPLE Country, Monday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Nashville’s Greer Stadium.
 

 

The Annual Grand Ole Opry Fan Club Brunch and Open House will not take place this year due to flooding in the Opry House in early May.
