The Grascals’ New Song Benefits St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

When it comes to the Grand Ole Opry and country music, the Q & A Lady is the first to admit she hasn’t seen and done it all. She’s equally quick, however, to add that she’s been lucky to see and do quite a little bit, and she’s happy to share her country insight with readers each week. She knows her Con Hunley from her John Conlee and her “Your Cheatin’ Heart” from her “Achy Breaky Heart.” If you have a question about country music you’d like to submit for her to consider answering, you’re welcome to do so here. Or you can just drop by each week to read her responses to other inquiries from across the country and around the globe. You just might learn a fun fact or two along the way.

Hi, we were lucky enough to have an opportunity to attend the Grand Ole Opry recently and the Grascals had a new song “Ill Be Strong” coming out with part of the proceeds benefitting St. Jude’s. Could you please tell me when the CD will be available and where I can get it? Thank you so much.

Dear Kathy,
You can find “I Am Strong” on the Grascals’ latest release, COUNTRY CLASSICS WITH A BLUEGRASS SPIN, available exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. The CD features the voices of Dolly Parton, Tom T. Hall, Brad Paisley and more greats in addition to the award-winning Grascals. I’ll be honest, Kathy. I thought you’d have to go to crackerbarrel.com to order the CD, but I was pleasantly surprised when I investigated and found there are a couple of Cracker Barrel stores on either side of Trenton in your home state. That just goes to show that hash brown casserole knows no geographic boundaries!
Thanks for asking,
The Q & A Lady
