Alice Cooper And Vince Gill Perform At Saturday’s Predators Game

Fresh from a Friday night Opry performance alongside his good friends the Del McCoury Band, Opry member Vince Gill played with rock legend Alice Cooper on Saturday during the second and third period of the Nashville Predators hockey game. Vince Gill was scheduled to play at intermission and had Alice Cooper accompany him on stage for a guest performance. While growing up in Detroit Michigan, Alice Cooper often attended Red Wings games and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate his 63rd birthday than watching the Predators and Red Wings battle it out on the ice.
During the game’s second intermission, Cooper was very complimentary of his friend. “I don’t think people realize how good of a guitar player Vince Gill really is,” said Cooper reported examiner.com
Vince Gill and Alice Cooper share an interest in more than just music, as both are accomplished golfers as well. Following the game, Alice Cooper met the Predator players and coaching staff in the team’s locker room.
