Rocker Steven Tyler gives Keith Urban a little kiss
Wild weekend for Keith Urban as he hit three of Nashville’s honky-tonks Friday night (Sept. 6) to promote the Tuesday (Sept. 10) release of his new album, Fuse.
Waiting for him in one of those honky-tonks was Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, a one-time American Idol judge who served on the panel with Jennifer Lopez. (Steven’s in Nashville to do a little songwriting.)
Now, as you know, Keith is getting ready to do his second season of Idol, and J-Lo will be on that panel as well.
So, as Steven is on stage at Tootsies with Keith, the rocker leans over and plants a kiss on Keith’s cheek.
“Give J-Lo this for me,” Steven said before launching into a funky version of “Walk This Way” with Keith and his band.
Speaking of J-Lo, Taylor Swift may be cutting a song with her
Did ya catch when Taylor Swift brought Jennifer Lopez on stage with her during T Swizzle’s Aug. 25 show in L.A.? Yeah, the two sang J-Lo’s “Jenny from the Block.”
Looks like that won’t be their last collaboration.
Several media outlets reported over the weekend that Taylor and Jennifer will cut a song together for J-Lo’s next album, due sometime next year.
No word on what kind of song it will be.
Carrie falls on stage, but all bones — including her funny bone — are intact
An onstage fall Thursday night (Sept. 5) put Carrie Underwood in a medical boot, but she played her show the next night, and she had no broken bones.
In fact, Carrie had lots of fun with it.
She tweeted, “Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi (Texas) when that girl busted her butt on stage?! Hilarious! Oh wait, that was me!”
Fans’ video of the fall shows that Carrie’s heel got caught in her dress while she was singing “Undo It.” That same video shows that Carrie kept on singing, even while she was sitting on the stage right after the fall.
Later, Carrie also tweeted a pic of her foot in the boot with the caption: “Good news, it’s not broken… AND I got some new footwear!”
