Brad Paisley is making a movie out of his single “I Can’t Change the World”
Well, it’s kind of based on the song. The movie will really be about how technology — smart phones, the web, iPads, all of that — is really isolating us instead of bringing us together.
“It makes you want to hide in your house,” Brad says. “You feel helpless. This song and this film project examine the lives of several people as they start to realize that they have to figure this thing out. Giving up isn’t the answer.”
Filming starts this month.
Randy Houser hits a million
Big congrats to country singer Randy Houser, who now has his first-ever million-selling song. “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” just got certified platinum in the online world, getting more than one million downloads since the song was released earlier this year.
“I can’t even begin to thank everyone for their support,” Randy said in a statement. “Country music fans are the greatest fans in the world!”
Carrie Underwood reacts to fan’s tweet: “That. Is. Creepy.”
And this may be why Carrie Underwood was slow to jump on the social media bandwagon.
One of Carrie’s young lady fans decided to come up with what it might look like if the country star and her hubby, hockey player Mike Fisher, had a baby.
The result: A doctored pic where Carrie’s holding a baby with Mike’s adult face. It straddles that line between scary and funny, and Carrie herself posted her vote on Twitter.
