Carrie can’t help but jump up and scream “Punch him!” when her hubby fights
And just to be really clear, Carrie Underwood’s husband is a professional hockey player, and one who just signed on for two more years with the Nashville Predators.
Carrie tells reporters she doesn’t mind when her man, Mike Fisher, mixes it up with opponents on the ice.
In fact, she kinda gets into it.
“I’m like, ‘Get him, baby! Get him! Punch him! Hurt him!” Carrie says, laughing. “I don’t enjoy it, but I know he can take care of himself, and I know he doesn’t mind fighting.”
“I’ve learned he’s a tough guy,” Carrie says. “Mike’s the kind of guy that does not complain. He could have, like, a broken ankle, and you’d never know it.”
“I always find out through, like, team people and stuff like that. And they’re like, ’How’s Mike’s shoulder?’ and I’m like, ‘What’s wrong with his shoulder?’ or like, ‘What happened?’”
Dream team: Loretta Lynn says she’ll record with Merle Haggard
The Coal Miner’s Daughter tells an Atlanta newspaper that she’s not done making music yet – and Loretta Lynn is about to record with Merle Haggard.
“Me and Merle Haggard are going to do a record,” she said.
See?? I told you!!
“He hasn’t lost one note of his voice,” she said. “I want to record a song with him that he wrote, ‘Today I Started Loving You Again.’”
“I want to have more hits. Giving up is for quitters!” she says.
“No one says anything anymore [in songs]. They need me out there.”
