Listening to you Barry on the Grand Ole Opry all the way from Vidalia, Louisiana wishing I could have been there!!!

WOW, Barry Gibb was fantastic with Ricky Skaggs, but was even more fabulous singing alone!!! Heart-wrenching to hear him sing “How Do You Mend A Broken Heart” without Maurice and Robin, but still beautiful. Just know that it was hard for Barry!! Listened from North Alabama and so wish I could have been there — what a night for The Opry and it’s fans!!! Thank you!!

I was at the Opry tonight when Barry performed – it was simply an incredible and amazing experience. Barry’s deep spirit poured through his music. The entire auditorium was electrified by his presence and moved to their feet by the vocal stirring he caused in our souls. Barry’s voice was as hauntingly beautiful as ever and the crowds sang along with the familiar lyrics that were a part of a right of passage in the 70s and indeed legendary today. His rendition of traditional songs sung with Ricky Scaggs were just as amazing. Ricky Scaggs and Barry Gibb made an unexpected natural pair of stage friends whose talents seem to resonate with one another.

I have been wait years since I worked for Andy Gibb in 1977-1980 , and knew the family well. I wanted to hear a solo album of Barry’s. Iand knew he wanted to be country, I knew he could do it,. it took a long time but that how it goes, LOVE you Barry and the Family, God Bless I know Allan LaMagna would be proud of you today.

Loved Barry’s songs. His voice is still wonderful. I replayed all 3 on utube many times. Hopefully, I can be there in person for his next appearance. Thx for bringing Barry to the Opry!!
