Noteworthy at the Opry: Heartache Songs

Heartache

This episode of Noteworthy at the Opry on GAC-TV features heartache songs performed by Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, and Brad Paisley right on the Opry stage. Anguish, grief and despair caused by lost love is something everyone can relate to – and country artists tell that story better than anyone. Lee Ann Womack, Montgomery Gentry, Jana Kramer, actor Justin Deely and pop singer Natasha Bedingfield talk about their favorite country heartache songs, and share the ingredients that make a heartache song great throughout the interview portions of the show. They also reveal their first heartbreak, contemplate what causes people to cheat, and offer advice they’d give a friend recovering from a broken heart.

One Response to “Noteworthy at the Opry: Heartache Songs”

  1. Barbara Miller says:

I tried asking this question on the GAC website and they gave me an autoreply that was not helpful at all. Can you tell me when the Heartache edition of Noteworthy at the Opry will be rebroadcast on the GAC channel. And is there a video of Carrie singing “Blown Away” from that show that you could post as you have done here with “Good Girl.” Obviously, I love Carrie Underwood, and I thought her Opry rendition of “Blown Away” was really great. Not that I didn’t think Good Girl and Remind Me with Brad weren’t great. They were. I’m just having trouble finding the “Blown Away” song video from that Opry performance. THANK you, in advance, for your speedy reply.
