We’ve been talking about her fourth studio album release, her Opry appearances, and her appearances around the country (like with the PS 22 choir and Live on Letterman), but today Carrie Underwood is making even more news. Now you can be Blown Away in any of the 56 cities she’ll be visiting before the end of the year for her next headlining tour.
Carrie announced the tour this morning on Good Morning America, where she was talking about and promoting her album release of Blown Away (available now). The tour, which she’s calling The Blown Away Tour, kicks off May 26 in Baton Rouge, LA. Tickets will be available beginning May 11. While the tour is primarily a North American headlining tour, she’ll also be heading overseas for an international run of shows this summer, including her first-ever United Kingdom concert taking place at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London on June 21, which sold out in only 90 minutes.
“I can’t wait to get back out on the road and perform new music from my new album for my fans,” says Carrie. “We have a lot of exciting things planned!”
Perhaps one of those exciting things is that hot new artist Hunter Hayes will be her special guest. Hunter’s self-titled debut album features his first two singles, “Storm Warning” and “Wanted.”
