Please note: there will be no tours on February 19 and limited tours on January 22 and 29.

ABOUT THE TOUR
There is nothing like being backstage during a performance of the Opry. This exclusive tour offers just that - for the first time ever. Be a VIP backstage! Superstar Opry member Garth Brooks has said it best: “No offense at all to the people sitting in the seats, but the real show is backstage. That’s the Opry.”
With the Behind The Opry Curtain VIP Tour, an exclusive group of fans can for the first time ever experience the Opry as a true backstage VIP. You’ll go behind the scenes in the exciting moments just before show time, learning from your knowledgeable guide and others about the inner workings of the show and watching Opry staffers and artists readying for another great night of music.
Then you’ll be on stage as the big red curtain goes up for the first performance of the show— a moment you’ll never forget! Following your tour, you’ll be personally escorted to your seats in the Opry House to enjoy the rest of the performance with your new-found perspective of what it’s like to be in the middle of it all at country music’s most famous show.
- A private tour of the Opry backstage area just before show time, learning how each Opry show comes together.
- Spend time in the Green Room just offstage, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Opry before show time.
- Watch the big red curtain rise on another Opry performance… from the side of the stage!
- Watch the first performance of the night from the stage.

NEW BACKSTAGE BOOK
When taking your Opry House Backstage Tour, be sure to pick up the hardcover companion piece to the tour, the new book Backstage At The Grand Ole Opry. The book features more than 250 exclusive photos from the Opry archives including several of those you’ll see during your tour. Also included are photos of all the spots included on tours—the Opry Member Gallery, 18 themed dressing rooms, and more—plus stories from backstage as told by Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood, and more.
"It's incredible, right when you walk in the door you feel that presence... Everybody looks like they're having a good time."
*On evenings in which there is only one Opry performance, tours are available immediately after the show when the Opry is presented at the Grand Ole Opry House. Daytime tours are also available seven days a week, though schedules can vary depending upon other Opry House commitments. Daytime Tours can be booked up to two weeks in advance online or by calling 1-800-SEE-OPRY. Post-Show and VIP Tours may be booked further in advance.
Tours tend to sell out quickly once available, so booking before you arrive is best. Tickets for tours are also available at the Opry House Box Office.
