ABOUT THE TOUR
Now you can take the tour right after the world-famous Grand Ole Opry show! After you see the show - see what it's like behind the scenes! Walk in the footsteps of country music's superstars and get an exclusive look at what happens on the other side of the curtain of the show that made country music famous - right after the show ends! This tour is available on nights when there is only one Grand Ole Opry show.
You'll visit the artist entrance where everyone has walked in for the show earlier that night, and you may even have the chance to step on stage and into the famed wooden circle just as a parade of artists have done a few minutes earlier.
You'll also get a glimpse of some of the Opry's 18 dressing rooms, each uniquely themed to tell part of the Opry story Darius and Opry announcer Bill Cody will share via videos. Post-show tours often also make a stop in Studio A, a live television studio and former home of HEE HAW. After you take in an Opry performance, let us officially say "Welcome to the Family!"
Video host and Opry member Darius Rucker says that the backstage area of the Grand Ole Opry is one of his favorite places on earth. Rucker shares interesting tales from backstage via video during the Opry’s post-show tour, as well as his thoughts on what makes the Opry so special.
You’ll hear him talk about the night he was extended an invitation to join the Opry from his buddy Brad Paisley, and the CMA award-winner also recalls how he truly felt a part of the country music community early in his country career by simply hanging out backstage and talking to Opry members such as Marty Stuart and Charley Pride.
Darius Rucker, who was officially welcomed into the Opry fold in 2012, is eager to welcome you to the family as well on an Opry House Post-Show Tour.

NEW BACKSTAGE BOOK
When taking your Opry House Backstage Tour, be sure to pick up the hardcover companion piece to the tour, the new book Backstage At The Grand Ole Opry. The book features more than 250 exclusive photos from the Opry archives including several of those you’ll see during your tour. Also included are photos of all the spots included on tours—the Opry Member Gallery, 18 themed dressing rooms, and more—plus stories from backstage as told by Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood, and more.
"It's incredible, right when you walk in the door you feel that presence... Everybody looks like they're having a good time."
*On evenings in which there is only one Opry performance, tours are available immediately after the show when the Opry is presented at the Grand Ole Opry House. Daytime tours are also available seven days a week, though schedules can vary depending upon other Opry House commitments. Daytime Tours can be booked up to two weeks in advance online or by calling 1-800-SEE-OPRY. Post-Show and VIP Tours may be booked further in advance.
Tours tend to sell out quickly once available, so booking before you arrive is best. Tickets for tours are also available at the Opry House Box Office.
