Eddy Raven

He was born Edward Garvin Futch, but country music fans know him as Eddy Raven, a singer/songwriter with the voice behind a string of hits on RCA Records in the 1980s that includes "I Got Mexico," "Shine, Shine, Shine," "I'm Gonna Get You," "Joe Knows How to Live," "In a Letter to You" and "Bayou Boys."  His success as a songwriter is recorded in the Oak Ridge Boy's "Thank God for Kids," Don Gibson's "Country Green," Jeannie C. Riley's "Good Morning, Country Rain" and Roy Acuff sang "Back in the Country."
