Jerrod Niemann

Guest Artist

A Kansas native, Jerrod Niemann embraced country music from a young age listening to George Strait. Niemann began his musical career playing in bars and clubs throughout Texas. In 1999, he self-released his debut album Long Hard Road. Niemann moved to Nashville in 2000 where he signed a developmental deal with Mercury Records. After leaving Mercury Records he signed to Category 5 Records and released the charting single "I Love Women (My Momma Can't Stand)." Soon after the release of his single the label closed and in 2009 Niemann signed to Arista Nashville's Sea Gayle division, owned by Brad Paisley.  Niemann released his enticing single "Lover, Lover" which made it to the Top 40 on the country music charts.

Niemann is a fresh voice to country music with his contemporary style. He describes his album Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury as "deliciously diverse." Making a name for himself at a young age, Niemann fuses conventional country with a modern spin both as a singer and songwriter.
