Most people spend their lives trying to find their destiny. For a lucky few, their destiny finds them.
So it is for Eamonn McCrystal, an effortless tenor with a rare ability to deliver modern ballads in a way that's both intimate and dramatic. The Irish-born singer had all but given up on performing for a living, ditching the stage to become a teacher and then to work in radio. And it was in that latter role that a fluke of fate led him to be discovered by Elizabeth Travis whose guidance has led to an impressive 25-year-career for country superstar Randy Travis.
Through a series of additional odd twists, McCrystal became a guest attraction on Randy's tour of Ireland. Weeks later, McCrystal signed a management deal with Elizabeth Travis Management, then moved to the U.S. and recorded a full album under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producer Kyle Lehnig (Randy Travis, England Dan & John Ford Coley).
Destiny has indeed found Eamonn McCrystal.
Now he is on the precipice of stardom, signed to a powerful booking agency CAA and the world renowned PR company Rogers & Cowan, drawing comparisons to Josh Groban, and working with producer Walter Afanasieff (Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis) as he creates the building blocks for an initial American tour.
