Jaida Dreyer

Guest Artist

Jaida Dreyer is an old soul with a story to tell. Behind the youthful, feminine exterior is a woman wise beyond her years. She has experienced a lot of life, which she aptly portrays in the songs that she writes.

A native of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, Jaida has lived in 7 different states, from one coast to the other. In the spotlight as a child, she won the hearts of audiences in both ice skating and horse arenas. When she was just 5 years old, she won the first of many World Championship titles showing horses.  The fast paced lifestyle of growing up on the road inspired Jaida to write about her adventures and when a back injury at the age of 18 left her unable to ride, she turned to her love of music and songwriting.

Jaida now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, where she has become one of the most sought after, young songwriters in the business. Publishing deal offers came from all directions after she posted a video on her MySpace page, and she chose to land at SongGarden Music Publishing.

Jaida also became the flagship artist on Gallimore’s new label, Streamsound Records. She recently released her debut single “Guy’s Girl”, which she co-wrote with The Warren Brothers and Lance Miller.  She has already established a solid and rapidly increasing fan base, both on a local and national level. Having recently gained a sponsorship with Jagermeister, Jaida has been on the road with heavy hitting acts across the US, along with having her songs recorded by major label artists. Jaida is currently in the studio with producer Byron Gallimore working on her debut album, which will be released later this year.
