Sisters Brandon Jane and Leah Crutchfield comprise Coldwater Jane. The sisters grew up in the small town of Lucedale, Mississippi, which had a population under 3,000. After years of traveling with their family as a gospel band the family moved to Nashville in pursuit of a music career for the sisters.
The two went separate ways in their careers and tried to make it solo. After years of broken promises from record labels the two realized they needed to be together. They joined back together in Nashville and began playing in local bars around town. After recording, Mercury Nashville acknowledged their natural talent and signed the duo.
The sisters released their single, "Bring On The Love," which made its way to radio stations in February 2010. The song charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and the duo even made a music video which aired on Great American Country and Country Music Television. In 2011, Coldwater Jane released their second studio album, Marionette.
