Laura Bell Bundy grew up in Lexington, Kentucky where she first started her quest of acting and singing. Her professional career began at the young age of nine when she appeared on stage in regional theatre. As she got older Bundy could be found on TV shows such as Cold Case and Veronica Mars. She is also recognized for her movie roles in Dream Girls, Jumanji, Life with Mikey and The Adventures of Huck Finn. She even lit up the stage of Broadway as the lead role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, for which she received a Tony Award nomination.
In 2008, she focused on her desire for a music career and moved to Nashville. Her first single, "Giddy On Up," was released in 2010 and debuted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Her debut album, Achin' and Shakin' was also released in 2010 and debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
