- OPRY BIRTHDAY PICNIC & PIE AUCTION
Beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 20, fans will have an opportunity to bid on memorabilia provided by the some of the biggest stars in country music as well as desserts found in the new book Around The Opry Table. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Opry Trust Fund, which supports those in need in Nashville’s country music community.

Kay West, author of Around The Opry Table, will be on hand in the Opry Plaza on Sat., Oct. 20 to sign copies of the book.
October is Opry Birthday Month
The Opry's 82nd Birthday is right around the corner. We hope that you will be able to join us for all the fun and excitement as we celebrate throughout October.

Bill Monroe Bluegrass Celebration featuring 2007 IBMA Entertainer of the Year nominees
The Del McCoury Band, The Grascals, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, and
Rhonda Vincent & the Rage. The show will emanate from the stage where bluegrass was born and the Opry’s most famous former home, the historic Ryman Auditorium.

Ronnie Milsap on Saturday (1:00 p.m.), and two shows Saturday night (6:30 & 9:30 p.m.) PLUS, fans can make a full day of fun on Oct. 20, as the Opry Plaza will be overflowing with birthday activities. An Opry Birthday picnic will offer music, fun, and special events beginning at 11:30 a.m.
